- Curriculum At Grace International School, we follow the Pearson Edexcel curriculum, a globally respected British educational programme that provides a strong academic foundation and prepares students for university and beyond. Recognised for its academic rigour and international relevance, Pearson Edexcel qualifications, including International GCSEs (IGCSEs) and A levels, are accepted by top universities and employers worldwide.
- Grace accepts students from ages 2 to 18, offering a continuous educational journey through five key stages:
- Early Years Foundation Stage (Ages 2–5): In these formative years, we provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and foundational social and motor skills. Our early childhood education builds confidence and a love for learning.
- Key Stage 1 (Ages 5–7) and Key Stage 2 (Ages 7–11): Following the Pearson Edexcel iPrimary curriculum, students study English, Mathematics, and Science using structured, engaging content and assessments that help track progress. These years focus on building literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.
- Key Stage 3 (Ages 11–14): Students deepen their knowledge across core subjects and develop higher-level thinking skills, preparing them for the challenges of IGCSE study. Lessons are designed to be exploratory, collaborative, and increasingly independent.
- Key Stage 4 (Ages 14–16): The IGCSE programme begins here. Students study core subjects—English Literature, English Language, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics A, History, ICT, Religious Studies, and Physical Education—and choose two electives from Art & Design, French, Economics, Business, and Further Pure Mathematics. IGCSEs offer internationally benchmarked academic credentials and prepare students for A levels.
- Key Stage 5 (Ages 16–18): Students specialise in three or four A-level subjects, which are essential for university entrance. Current offerings include Mathematics (Mechanics and Statistics), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, IT, English Literature, English Language, Art and Design, and Business. Grace also supports students who pursue online or early university courses, offering personalised guidance and facilitation.
- In addition, Grace employs certified SEND and EAL specialists to support students with learning differences and English language needs. Through the Pearson Edexcel curriculum, Grace provides a globally minded, high-quality education that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and lifelong learning
- Grading System Grace follows the Pearson Edexcel grading system for both International GCSEs (IGCSEs) and International A levels, providing students with internationally benchmarked qualifications that are highly respected by universities and employers worldwide. IGCSE Grading: 9–1 Scale Pearson Edexcel IGCSEs are graded on a 9–1 scale, with 9 being the highest and 1 the lowest. This system offers greater precision in distinguishing student achievement, especially at the top end. A grade 9 is considered higher than the former A*, while a grade 4 is broadly equivalent to the old grade C. This scale is aligned with the reformed GCSEs in England, ensuring consistency and comparability. The system helps universities and institutions make clearer distinctions among high-achieving students. A Level Grading: A–E Scale Pearson Edexcel A levels are graded from A* to E, with A* being the highest possible grade. To earn an A*, students must achieve an overall grade A and score at least 90% across their A2 (final year) units. These grades reflect rigorous academic performance and are accepted globally for university admission and beyond.
- Grace uses these grading systems to track progress and celebrate achievement. Students receive formal reports and transcripts aligned with Pearson Edexcel standards, supporting university applications worldwide. At Grace, we are committed to delivering these assessments with integrity and academic excellence, ensuring students are well-prepared for higher education and lifelong success.
- Exam Results and Awards Grace International School takes pride in the academic achievements of its students across key stages. At the end of the academic year, Year 6 students sit the National Curriculum Tests (NCT), the vast majority exceed the English national average, a reflection of their strong foundation and the dedication of our teaching staff. At the secondary level, Grace’s IGCSE students have also excelled, consistently performing above international averages. 52% of our IGCSE students have received the Pearson High Achievers’ Award, recognising their exceptional results

Message From Principal
Whether a child or an adult, each person is always learning. Education involves our God-given abilities and our external influences. Education is an experience that impacts the entire person intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially.
We believe that the purpose of education is to develop the child for godliness. That is why we are here. We believe God has revealed the purpose, recipient, and responsibility. We endeavour to follow His lead in our learning experience, giving special attention to content and methods that honour Him.
It is my heartfelt desire that your time at Grace will be a loving community experience that is special to you. I pray the Grace experience will always live up to our school’s name: a culture saturated with Grace.
